While Mom and Dad Were Gone . . .

While Mom and Dad were in Colorado, the boys had a weekend of play with Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Chet. Ethan and Noah had lunch at Chick-fil-a with Aunt Kim and Grandma Kathy on Friday, while Daniel and Benji were at Casa Vida. On Saturday they went to Ridemakerz and made custom cars. They also went to the aquarium at the Wildlife World Zoo. And, on Sunday, they went swimming! What a fun weekend for everyone!! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for taking such good care of our boys!!

Ethan's First Sleep Over!

On Saturday, May 1, Ethan went to his first sleep over! He was invited to spend the night at his best friend Owen's house. He went away confident and didn't look back. He and Owen slept on the floor together in sleeping bags and giggled most of the night away. They then had pancakes for breakfast and then Ethan went to church with Owen and met up with the rest of the family there. Ethan loved his first sleep over and can't wait for the next one!!

Happy 5th Birthday, Ethan!

On April 28, 2010, Ethan Matthew Keller turned 5 years old! Wow. What a big boy he is! Ethan made some big plans for his special day. First, we went to Krispy Kreme Donuts for a free dozen. Then it was back home for a morning of school work. Then we headed off to the car wash, library and stopped at Wendy's for lunch before getting to church at noon for co-op. Ethan brought rainbow chip cupcakes to co-op and the kids enjoyed singing to Ethan and eating a yummy treat. After co-op, Ethan had swim lessons and then we went to Village Inn for chocolate chip pancakes and pie rush Wednesday. Our day was completed by Ethan opening his presents--he got a new razor scooter and helmet. Happy Birthday to our BIG FIVE YEAR OLD ETHAN!

Field trip to the Zoo!

On Wednesday, April 21, our co-op took a field trip to the Phoenix Zoo. It was an unseasonably cool day and we all enjoyed being outside, marveling at God's creation together! We spent several hours looking at the animals, we had a picnic lunch together and then we went home before the rain started!

Our Businessmen!

On Saturday, April 17, our family had a garage sale. The boys wanted to get in on the action, so they planned their own concession stand, which would run at the same time as our sale. Our neighbor girls, Chloe and Paige, were delighted to be their business partners! The kids all got together the night before and made signs advertising their merchandise. They carefully priced each of their items: soda, water, lemonade, candy and otter pops. On Saturday morning, they were ready for business. They worked hard, were enthusiastic and polite and at the end of the sale, they had earned $31.60. Way to go, kids!!

Ethan's Art: January, February and March, 2010!

Here's some of Ethan's awesome art!

Oh Happy Day!!

Easter morning started out early with church services outside on the lawn. It was a beautiful morning, warm and without a cloud in the sky. A perfect morning to sing praises to God for raising His son and conquering sin and death!! After Easter services, we headed over to Grandma and Aunt B's house for a visit and to wish them a happy Resurrection Day! Then it was off to lunch with family at Dillons. We were so blessed to have our sweet cousin, Aubrey, with us for the afternoon. As well as her daddy, Loren, and Uncle Flake, Grandma Freda, Matt, Grandma Bettie, Grandpa Ron and Uncle Andy. It was a fun day and we are so thankful for our many blessings. But most of all, the gift of life through God's own son, Jesus!
